  • Notice how the teacher gives ample wait time when she asks about the advantages and disadvantages. It is important that the teacher give sufficient time to allow students to give contributions. Using wait time will help put the onus on the students.
  • When the students have given all their suggestions, she notes that another advantage of the graph is that it shows the co-variation of the two quantities. It is important that this idea comes out and since the students did not suggest it in this case, it was necessary for the teacher to add it in.
